SMD5050 尺寸 5.0mm × 5.0mm,单颗封装内含红、绿、蓝三颗晶元,是 RGB 混色的理想选择。单颗亮度更高,功耗也更大(约 0.2W/颗),适合氛围照明、变色装饰等以 RGB 灯效为主的场景。

SMD2835 尺寸 2.8mm × 3.5mm,单晶元封装,光效更高(每瓦流明数更多)、散热更好、灯体更薄,适合工作照明、灯槽间接照明等更看重亮度效率的场景。

一般家居装饰与氛围照明推荐 SMD5050 RGB 灯带;对能效要求高的专业建筑与商业照明推荐 SMD2835。

How do I choose between SMD5050 and SMD2835 LED chips?

SMD5050 measures 5.0mm × 5.0mm and packs three dies (red, green, blue) per chip, making it ideal for RGB color mixing. It is brighter per chip but consumes more power (about 0.2W each) — best for accent lighting and color-changing installations where RGB effects are the priority.

SMD2835 measures 2.8mm × 3.5mm with a single die per chip. It offers higher luminous efficacy (more lumens per watt), better heat dissipation and a lower profile — best for task lighting and indirect cove lighting where brightness efficiency matters most.

For most home decoration and ambient projects we recommend SMD5050 RGB strips; for professional architectural and commercial lighting where efficiency is critical, choose SMD2835.

12V 和 24V 灯带有什么区别?

12V 灯带剪切间隔更短(每 5cm / 3 颗灯珠),长度调整更灵活;但同功率下电流更大,压降更明显,单段连续长度一般不超过 5 米。

What is the difference between 12V and 24V LED strips?

12V strips have shorter cutting intervals (every 5cm / 3 LEDs) for more flexible length adjustment, but draw higher current at the same power, so voltage drop is more noticeable — runs are generally limited to 5 meters.

24V strips have longer cutting intervals (every 10cm / 6 LEDs) but suffer less voltage drop, allowing continuous runs up to 10 meters — the better choice for high-density, high-power and commercial projects.

For home runs under 5 meters, 12V is the more economical choice; for commercial projects or any run over 5 meters, we recommend 24V.

不同环境需要什么防水等级(IP)?
  • IP20:无防水,适合卧室、客厅、橱柜下方、衣柜等干燥室内环境,性价比最高、最柔软。
  • IP65:防喷溅,适合卫生间(非浸水)、厨房、有顶棚的户外区域。
  • IP67:可短时浸水(1 米水深 30 分钟),适合花园、露天平台等可能积水的场景。

What IP rating do I need for my installation?
  • IP20: no water protection — for dry indoor spots like bedrooms, living rooms, under cabinets and closets; the most cost-effective and flexible option.
  • IP65: splash-proof — for bathrooms (not submerged), kitchens and covered outdoor areas.
  • IP67: temporary immersion (1m for 30 minutes) — for gardens and open decks where standing water is possible.
  • IP68: continuous submersion — for pools, fountains and aquariums.

Higher IP ratings add a silicone or PU coating that slightly reduces brightness and limits heat dissipation, so choose the minimum rating your environment requires.

什么是 RGBIC?和普通 RGB 有何不同?

普通 RGB 灯带全段共用一路控制信号,所有灯珠同一时刻只能显示同一种颜色——可以变色、呼吸、循环,但整条灯带永远是单色。

RGBIC(RGB + Independent Control)在每颗或每组灯珠上集成 IC 芯片,支持分段独立控制,可实现彩虹追逐、流水、分段撞色等多色同显的炫酷效果。

注意:RGBIC 灯带因 IC 按顺序寻址,不可剪切,剪断会导致后段失效。若既要剪切灵活又要多色效果,可考虑我们的分区控制 RGB 方案。

What is RGBIC and how does it differ from standard RGB?

Standard RGB strips share one control signal, so every LED shows the same color at the same time — you can change colors, breathe and cycle, but the whole strip is always one uniform color.

RGBIC (RGB + Independent Control) integrates an IC chip on each LED or group, enabling segment control for rainbow chases, flowing water and multi-color block effects displayed simultaneously.

Note: because ICs are addressed sequentially, RGBIC strips cannot be cut — cutting breaks the data chain downstream. If you need both cutting flexibility and multi-color effects, consider our zoned RGB solution.

如何计算需要多大的电源?

三步算出合适的电源功率:

  • 第一步:查产品规格中的每米功率。例如 60 珠/米的 SMD5050 RGB 灯带约为 14.4W/米。
  • 第二步:乘以安装总长度。5 米即 14.4W × 5 = 72W。
  • 第三步:增加 20% 余量:72W × 1.2 = 86.4W,向上取整选标准规格 100W 电源。

切勿让电源长期满载运行,否则会缩短寿命并可能过热;20% 余量能保证电源低温稳定工作。

How do I calculate the power supply size I need?

A three-step calculation:

  • Step 1: find the wattage per meter in the product spec — e.g. a 60 LED/m SMD5050 RGB strip is about 14.4W/m.
  • Step 2: multiply by the total length — for 5 meters: 14.4W × 5 = 72W.
  • Step 3: add a 20% safety margin: 72W × 1.2 = 86.4W — round up to a standard 100W supply.

Never run a power supply at full capacity for long periods — it shortens its life and can overheat; the 20% headroom keeps it cool and stable.

Do you offer sample kits before placing a bulk order?

Yes. Our evaluation sample kit includes a 1-2 meter strip sample, a compatible controller, a power adapter, a remote and relevant accessories.

Sample fees vary by product complexity and are typically credited against your first bulk order. Standard samples ship in 3-5 business days; custom samples (specific colors, lengths or configurations) in 7-10. Contact our sales team to arrange a shipment.

剪切、连接与固定的实操要点

如何正确剪切 LED 灯带?

灯带上标有剪刀图标和铜质焊盘的位置即为剪切点。操作要点:

  • 剪切前务必断电。
  • 找到距目标长度最近的剪切标记——在标记之间下剪会损坏电路。
  • 用锋利的剪刀或美工刀沿焊盘中线整齐剪断。
  • 防水灯带(IP65 以上)剪切后需用硅胶密封剪口或加装端帽,以保持防水性能。

供电一侧的灯带剪后正常工作;剪下的部分焊线或加装卡扣连接器后仍可复用。

How do I properly cut an LED strip?

Cut points are marked by a scissors icon and copper solder pads. Key steps:

  • Always power off the strip before cutting.
  • Find the cut mark nearest your target length — cutting between marks damages the circuit.
  • Use sharp scissors or a utility knife for a clean, straight cut through the center of the pads.
  • For waterproof strips (IP65+), re-seal the cut end with silicone sealant or an end cap to maintain water resistance.

The powered section keeps working normally after the cut; the cut-off section can be reused by soldering wires or attaching clip connectors.

粘贴安装前需要如何处理表面?

充分的表面处理是持久粘接的关键:

  • 用异丙醇(IPA)彻底清洁安装面,去除灰尘、油脂与水汽;避免使用会留残留物的家用清洁剂。
  • 确保表面完全干燥后再粘贴。
  • 粗糙或有漆面的表面可轻微打磨,获得更平整的粘接面。

What surface preparation is needed before mounting?

Proper preparation is the key to long-lasting adhesion:

  • Clean the surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to remove dust, grease and moisture; avoid household cleaners that leave residue.
  • Make sure the surface is completely dry before applying.
  • Lightly sand textured or painted surfaces for a smoother bonding area.
  • Peel the 3M adhesive liner gradually, pressing firmly along the entire length; avoid stretching or bending the strip.
  • Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to reach full bond strength before powering on.

For surfaces where adhesive alone won't hold (rough wood, concrete), use mounting clips or aluminum channels for a permanent installation.

灯带可以加长拼接吗?

可以,通过焊接、卡扣连接器或延长线均可拼接多段灯带。但单条串联总长不要超过灯带类型的推荐上限(12V 约 5 米、24V 约 10 米)。

更长的安装请采用「并联注电」:从电源分别拉线给每个 5 米或 10 米分段供电,而不是让电流依次流经整条灯带。这样可以消除长距离压降造成的末端变暗和色偏。

Can I extend my LED strip beyond the standard length?

Yes — segments can be joined by solder, clip connectors or extension cables. But keep a single daisy chain within the recommended maximum (about 5m for 12V, 10m for 24V).

For longer installations use parallel power injection: run separate cables from the power supply to each 5m or 10m segment instead of feeding power through the strip sequentially. This eliminates the dimming and color shift caused by voltage drop over long runs.

灯带需要铝槽散热吗?

常规密度(30-60 珠/米)的灯带发热可控,直接背胶粘贴即可安全使用。以下场景建议加装铝槽:

  • 高密度灯带(120 珠/米以上):发热明显,铝槽能大幅提升散热面积。
  • 封闭安装:灯槽内、面板后等空气不流通的位置需要更好的热管理。
  • 长时间点亮:每天点亮 12 小时以上的安装,良好散热能显著延长灯珠寿命。

Do LED strips need aluminum channels for heat dissipation?

Standard-density strips (30-60 LEDs/m) generate manageable heat and can run safely on adhesive alone. Aluminum channels are recommended when:

  • High density (120+ LEDs/m): significantly more heat — channels greatly increase the heat-sink area.
  • Enclosed installations: inside coves or behind panels with limited airflow, better thermal management is needed.
  • Long operating hours: for 12+ hours per day, good dissipation noticeably extends LED lifespan.
  • Aesthetics: channels with diffuser covers remove visible LED dots for a clean linear glow — ideal for architectural work.

We offer surface-mount, recessed, corner and pendant profiles, each with frosted or clear diffuser covers.

电源和灯带之间最远可以离多远?

电源到灯带首端的导线距离会因线阻压降影响亮度,选线参考:

  • 3 米以内:18 AWG(约 0.82mm²)导线。
  • 3-6 米:16 AWG(约 1.3mm²)导线。

What is the maximum distance between the power supply and the strip?

Wire resistance between the supply and the first LED causes voltage drop. Wire gauge guidelines:

  • Up to 3m (10ft): 18 AWG wire.
  • 3-6m (10-20ft): 16 AWG wire.
  • 6-10m (20-33ft): 14 AWG wire.

Keep the power supply as close to the strip as possible. If a long run is unavoidable, use heavier-gauge wire or step up to 24V strips (half the current, less voltage drop).

App 与智能控制

配对、分组、语音助手与音乐律动

第一次使用 App 如何配对设备?

整个配对过程通常在 60 秒内完成:

  • 在 App Store 或应用市场下载我们的 App 并注册登录。
  • 确认手机已开启蓝牙和 Wi-Fi,且路由器有 2.4GHz 频段(不支持 5GHz)。

How do I pair a device with the app for the first time?

Pairing usually completes within 60 seconds:

  • Download our app from the App Store or your app market and sign in.
  • Make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are on, and your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz network (5GHz is not supported).
  • Power on the strip or device, then tap "+" in the app to add a device.
  • The app scans for nearby devices — select yours and follow the on-screen pairing prompts.
  • Once paired, you can control colors, brightness, modes and schedules right away.

If you hit issues, stay within 3 meters of the device during first pairing and avoid pairing from multiple phones at once.

支持 Amazon Alexa 和 Google Home 吗?

支持。Wi-Fi 版产品兼容 Amazon Alexa、Google Home 与 Samsung SmartThings,设置步骤:

  • 先在我们的 App 中完成设备配网。
  • 打开 Alexa 或 Google Home App,搜索并启用对应技能 / 关联账号。
  • 关联后设备会自动同步到语音助手中。

Does it work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home?

Yes. Wi-Fi products are compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Samsung SmartThings:

  • First complete device pairing in our app.
  • Open the Alexa or Google Home app and enable the skill / link your account.
  • Once linked, your devices sync automatically to the voice assistant.

Supported commands include on/off, color changes ("Alexa, set the living room lights to blue"), brightness by percentage and activating saved scenes. Brand partners on our white-label program can integrate under their own skill name.

可以把多条灯带编成一组控制吗?

可以。App 支持多设备分组同步控制,可按房间建组(如「客厅」「卧室」),一键或一句语音同时调整整组的颜色、亮度与模式。

还可以创建「场景」,为组内每个设备分别设定颜色和亮度,一键即可复现复杂的多分区灯光布置。

Can I control multiple strips as a group?

Yes. The app supports grouping multiple devices for synchronized control — create room-based groups ("Living Room", "Bedroom") and adjust the whole group's color, brightness and mode with one tap or one voice command.

You can also create "scenes" that set different colors and brightness for each device in a group, recalling complex multi-zone setups with a single action.

音乐律动是 App 实现的还是硬件实现的?

两种方式都有,取决于产品型号:

App 律动:利用手机麦克风实时拾音并转化为灯效,适配任何音源(电视、音箱、现场音乐),所有 Wi-Fi / 蓝牙产品均支持。

硬件律动:部分型号控制器内置麦克风,延迟更低,无需保持 App 开启,灵敏度和模式可通过遥控器或 App 调节。

追求低延迟的最佳律动体验推荐硬件方案;日常轻度使用则 App 方案更灵活。

Is music sync built into the app or the hardware?

Both approaches exist, depending on the model:

App-based sync: the phone microphone captures ambient audio and translates it into effects in real time — works with any audio source (TV, speakers, live music) and is available on all Wi-Fi / Bluetooth products.

Hardware-based sync: some controllers have a built-in microphone for lower latency, no need to keep the app open; sensitivity and modes adjust via remote or app.

For the lowest-latency experience choose hardware sync; for casual use the app-based method is the most flexible.

配网之后断网还能用吗?

可以。首次配网后设置保存在控制器本地,开关、上次颜色、已存场景、定时任务等基础功能在断网时依然正常工作。

但语音助手(Alexa、Google)和外网远程控制需要网络连接。部分型号配备的离线语音模组,可在完全无网络的环境下继续语音控制。

Does the lighting work without internet after setup?

Yes. After the initial pairing, settings are stored locally on the controller — on/off, last-used color, saved scenes and scheduled timers keep working when the internet is down.

Voice assistants (Alexa, Google) and remote access from outside your home network do require a connection. Select models with our offline voice module keep voice control working entirely without internet.

什么是显色指数(CRI)?为什么重要?

CRI(Color Rendering Index)衡量光源还原物体真实颜色的能力,满分 100(等同日光)。

一般氛围与装饰照明 CRI 80+ 即可;零售陈列、艺术展览、化妆镜、摄影等对色彩还原要求高的场景建议 CRI 90+。我们的标准灯带 CRI 80+,专业应用可选配 CRI 95+ 的高显指版本。

What is CRI and why does it matter?

CRI (Color Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source renders the true colors of objects, on a scale up to 100 (equivalent to daylight).

CRI 80+ is fine for general ambient and decorative lighting; for retail displays, art galleries, makeup mirrors and photography, CRI 90+ is recommended. Our standard strips achieve CRI 80+, with high-CRI (95+) options available for professional applications.

什么是压降?对灯带有什么影响?

压降是电流流经灯带铜箔时因电阻发热导致电压沿灯带逐渐降低的现象,表现为远离供电端的灯珠变暗甚至色偏。

What is voltage drop and how does it affect LED strips?

Voltage drop is the gradual loss of voltage along the strip as resistance in the copper traces dissipates energy as heat — LEDs far from the power input appear dimmer and may shift in color.

To minimize it: use 24V strips (half the current at the same power), inject power from both ends, add parallel power injection on long runs, or choose the wider 12mm PCB with lower trace resistance.

Rule of thumb: without supplementary injection, visible brightness differences appear beyond 5 meters on 12V strips and 10 meters on 24V.

控制器支持哪些无线协议?
  • Wi-Fi(2.4GHz):App 控制、语音助手、云端与远程访问,智能家居首选。

What wireless protocols do your controllers support?
  • Wi-Fi (2.4GHz): app control, voice assistants, cloud connectivity and remote access — the smart home choice.
  • Bluetooth (BLE 5.0): direct phone-to-device control with no router, low power — good for simple single-room setups.
  • 2.4G RF: dedicated remote-control radio protocol; penetrates walls better than Bluetooth or IR, with 30m+ range.
  • Infrared (IR): line-of-sight control at the lowest cost — for basic on/off and color needs.

Many premium controllers combine protocols (e.g. Wi-Fi + Bluetooth + IR) for maximum flexibility.

LED 灯带实际能用多久?

优质灯带额定寿命 50,000 小时——按每天 8 小时使用约 17 年,24 小时连续点亮约 5.7 年。该数值为 L70 寿命,即亮度衰减到初始 70% 的时间点。

How long do LED strips actually last?

Quality strips are rated for 50,000 hours — roughly 17 years at 8 hours a day, or 5.7 years running continuously. This is the L70 lifetime: the point where brightness degrades to 70% of the original output.

Real-world lifespan depends on conditions: ambient temperature (cooler is longer), driving current (running below maximum extends life significantly), heat dissipation (mounting and ventilation matter) and power supply quality (voltage spikes and ripple damage LEDs prematurely).

To maximize life: use aluminum channels for dissipation, keep 20%+ headroom on the power supply and ensure ventilation around the installation.

恒压驱动和恒流驱动有什么区别?

恒压(CV)驱动输出固定电压(如 12V / 24V),负载按需取流。灯带内置限流电阻,天生为恒压驱动设计——几乎所有灯带应用都用恒压电源。

恒流(CC)驱动输出固定电流(如 350mA / 700mA)并自动调压,用于自身没有限流设计的 LED 模组和面板。给灯带接恒流驱动会烧毁灯珠。

What is the difference between constant-voltage and constant-current drivers?

Constant Voltage (CV) drivers output a fixed voltage (12V / 24V) and let the load draw the current it needs. LED strips have built-in current-limiting resistors and are designed for CV drivers — virtually all strip applications use them.

Constant Current (CC) drivers output a fixed current (350mA / 700mA) and adjust voltage, for LED modules and panels without their own current regulation. Connecting a CC driver to a strip will destroy the LEDs.

For all our strip products, always use a constant-voltage supply matching the strip voltage (DC 12V or 24V) — the wrong driver type causes permanent damage.

My strip lights up but shows the wrong colors — what's wrong?

Incorrect colors usually mean a wiring issue between the controller and the strip. RGB strips have four wires — one per color channel (red, green, blue) plus a common positive or negative. If any two color wires are swapped, the displayed colors won't match your selection.

Fix: power off and check the connections at the controller output, matching each wire to the labeled terminal (R, G, B and +/- or V+). Wire color schemes vary between manufacturers — always follow the markings printed on the strip and controller, not the wire colors alone.

The end of my strip is dimmer than the start — how do I fix it?

This is classic voltage drop: when the strip is too long, the supply can't maintain consistent voltage over the full length, so the farthest LEDs run at lower voltage and brightness.

Solutions: inject power from both ends (wire the supply to the start and the end), add mid-point injection on very long runs, upgrade from 12V to 24V strips (less drop at the same power), and make sure the power supply is rated at least 20% above the calculated load.

App 搜索不到设备,应该怎么排查?

请按以下顺序逐项检查:

The app can't find my device — what should I try?

Work through these steps in order:

  • Confirm Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both enabled on your phone.
  • Confirm the app has location permission (required by Android for Bluetooth scanning).
  • Make sure your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz network; if 2.4G and 5G share one SSID, temporarily separate them during setup.
  • Power-cycle the device — unplug for 10 seconds, then plug back in.
  • Keep the phone within 1-2 meters of the device during scanning.
  • If the device was previously paired to another phone, reset it by rapidly toggling power 5 times (methods vary by model — see the quick-start guide).
